The Clodius Parnassian butterfly (Parnassius clodius) is a striking species native to the mountainous regions of North America. Known for its distinctive white wings adorned with black spots and a hint of blue on the edges, this butterfly thrives in alpine meadows where it feeds on a variety of host plants, primarily including stonecrops and other rocky terrain flora.
